Job Hunting.

I am looking for a job, well sort of. Since DS is in school most of the day, I feel that I need to do something worthwhile with my free time. I came across several Web Developer Jobs on the internet. However, I am not sure if I will be able to get an IT-related job after years of not working. It’s just a thought anyway. Hopefully I can find something that won’t take much of my family or maybe something that I can do at home.
Playmobil Rediscovered.

I’m glad DS is playing with his Playmobil toys once again. I thought he lost his interest on them already. Then one day last week he just decided to take them out of its box (yes, it is still on its original box), and asked us to help him look for the other little parts. I find this toy really nice and sturdy. It’s a bit on the pricey side, for me, though. I love that it’s detailed and actually look like the real thing, smaller of course. The tools, hjc helmets, traffic signs, all look like the real thing. Maybe when I have the budget, I can get more accessories for my son’s toy garage.

I’m happy to say that I don’t have much material things on my wish list. And even if I don’t get those things come Christmas, it is so fine with me. I have everything that I need. Getting extra is just a bonus.
So what do I want.
First is the Polaroid Pogo. I am thinking this will be a good tool for photo-a-day project. I can print one significant photo each day and stick them to a planner (acid-free required!) with notes and little stories. So it’s like a journal and a PAD project in one. And what’s nice about the pogo is it saves a digital copy of the picture as well.
A compact digicam. I love my Lumix, but a small, lightweight and handy camera is a nice option, too. I am getting a little too old to carry heavy bags. Haha! I am looking into sony cameras, as they have some really cute, itty-bitty digicams.
A nice, big ref for the kitchen. Our small one is working just fine. But if I get a big one, I will be able to do the grocery every two weeks since I have a bigger storage.
I know there are more, but this is all I can come up for now.

Semestral Break.

Semetral break is in two week’s time. I am looking forward for the break. No waking up early and we can stay up a little later than usual. The car badly needs a break too. I think it will have the maintenance it needs. Sure, one can always avail of the rv emergency roadside assistance. But as always being safe is our number one concern. Vacation? I am not sure if we still have enough for a short getaway this break though.

I look forward to Wednesdays, scrapping-wise. It’s because several stores are having a sale on this day. Jessica Sprague has One Dollar Wednesday and I get to stock up on goodies without the guilt. Digiscrappersbrasil has Fabulous $2 Wednesday. They used to have $1 Wednesday and how I miss that. And TheLilypad has 50% Off SOSN. I am missing their Tadpole Tuesday where they offer $1 items. After I am done with fuente cigars shopping for an uncle, I am off to shop for some great scrapping deals.
