It’s A Party.

I am starting to prepare for my son’s party in school. He’ll be turning 5 next month and he really can’t wait to have his very own party. He even said that he wanted to have lots of many guests. hee-hee. Of course, the party will just be a small one and will be held during their snack time. Just the birthday song, blowing of candles and of course, food from Jollibee. I am right now looking at various promotional products from usimprints.com. Their tote bags will make really nice and personalized loot bags, along with their pens and pencils. I will just need to add some stickers and some sweets then it’s good to go. I want the giveaways to be a little more special and more stuffed so I plan to get a few items everytime I go to the mall or shop online.

To Do.

As much as I would like to stay home tomorrow {not to rest, but to finish some pending chores}, I need to make a trip to the mall. This weekend is pretty loaded so tomorrow is the only free day that I have.

First stop, grocery. I have an ample stock of fish and chicken so I only need to get some veggies, my supply of carrots, apples, DH’s vitamins, womens vitamins for me and some snack for DS’s school’s family day on Sunday.

I then need to get red shirts for the 3 of us. We belong to the red group for the family day and surprise, surprise, neither DH and I have red shirts.

A classmate of DS is having a class birthday party this Friday so I will be getting a gift for her, too.

I wonder if I can setup a lunch date with a balikbayan friend as I won’t be able to make it this Saturday.

Artscow.

I came across Artscow through my online friends. And they have been availing of their products for quite some time now. I plan to have my digital photos printed this year so I decided to give Artscow a visit. Oh my, there are so much stuff I want to order from them. I like their bucket bag and cosmetic case and I love that I can have them personalized by putting a personal photos in there. I also love their custom pillow case. This will make a great gift for the grandparents. How I wish I can make my own photobook, too. But before all of these, I need to check for insurance quotes first. Prioritize, prioritize.

More Disney Photos.

I loved this part of the show. I enjoyed watching the pirates as their costumes were so colorful.

kakagulat naman tong si buzz.

This was so much nicer in person. The stage was so dark and yet you could see those ghosts floating in the air.

There were lots more fun scenes and my son enjoyed the show so much, he was requesting to see it again. He sure is ready to see Disneyland. I just don’t know when that will push through as we have other priorities this year. Getting an affordable life insurance quote is one of them.

To-Buy.

Aside from my to-do list, I also have a fairly long to-buy list. However, the items from the list are mostly for the house. That’s why I am trying my best not to spend on unnecessary things as I want to scratch each and every item on the list this year. And I am hoping I will not ask any money from DH and just use all my earnings. One of the items in the list is new lighting for the living room and dining room, more specifically Dolan Designs lighting. I loved their designs when I saw them at Lightingshowplace.com. I hope these fit in the box as I plan to ask a friend to get those for me.

Disney On Ice.

We saw Disney on Ice at the Araneta Coliseum last January 3. It was the last day of the show. I bought our tickets around early December and it was hard to get good seats as most of the good ones were taken already. We still had a nice view from where we were seated though. The moment Mickey Mouse and the gang came out, my son screamed and waved with so much delight. He loves Mickey Mouse and he even wanted to go near him. {Next time I’ll get tickets on the first day to get front row seats for him.} He cried when the show ended. I guess he is so ready to meet Mickey Mouse and it’s about time that we look around for affordable Disney vacation packages.

Sigh.

Our internet connection is still crawling. And that is several days after we upgraded it to a faster speed. I told DH that the very slow connection is stressing me out so off he looked for other options. I am also helping out a friend find a job online. I am currently looking at Beyond.com since it does have a huge selection of job opportunities. So I am really hoping the connection upgrade will take effect soon as I have quite a number of things to do online.

Happy New Year!

How’s Christmas?

So how was your Christmas? Most of my friends have uploaded and even blogged about their Christmas. I wish to do that, too but I have lots of pre-Christmas photos that I need to upload first. Anyway, our Christmas was simple but a happy one. DS got the gift he requested and he was ecstatic and played with his toys till 2 in the morning. I got some really nice gifts, too. Anyway, it’s back to reality now and I need to have all our payables settled before the New Year as we want to welcome the 2010 debt-free. First on my list is our insurance. Good thing I came across some affordable insurance right here. That’s one thing off my list.
