On Portraits.

DH just completed his Basic Photography Class in FPPF. Their last assigment was a portrait and still life photo. He initially thought of doing a mother and son portrait (of course, that’s me and my boy), but I refused. He would need to do a lot of editing just to get rid of blackheads on my face. And yes, I am a frequent visitor of Getridofblackhead.org as my skin has been bothering me lately.
Anyway, DH submitted a close-up portrait of DS and a photo of a beer bottle for his still life. And both photos got awards. And he was the only one in his class of around 50 to get an award for both categories. It was 5th place for the portrait, and 2nd place {just a .01 difference from the 1st place!} for the still life.
