Do you know that you can recover data from a failed hard drive by placing it in the freezer for a day?
A hard drive that is left in the freezer for 24 hours and then quickly inserted back into your machine can make a recovery. Or at least long enough to back things up before it says adios forever.

How I wish I had known this before. I have had too many busted hard drives before and the least I could do was to return it to the store for replacement. Needless to say, my files are lost every time. It was indeed stressful, thank goodness for acne treatment. I was not sure if the drive was not of good quality or the electric supply in our place was bad or if it was the AVR.
