We have an ongoing DIY project in the house. It was more of DH’s project actually. I tried to help a little, but I got tired after a little while. Heehee. And since it’s his first time to do a home project as big as this one, we went way over the budget. Plus he took frequent trips to the hardware to get supplies and various safety products as well. The project is almost done now and I must say that it looks good and it looks expensive. From afar. Heehee. Upclose, of course there are a few little flaws. But considering that this is a one-man project, it’s more than I expected.

I came across Leftovers from Photojojo. It’s a Polaroid Food Blog wherein the author takes a picture of everything she eats every single day. And it is said that taking photos of one thing can do improve your photography skills.
Focus on one subject, and you’re forced to evolve your style to keep it interesting… change your perspective, change the way you see things, change everything!
Do it for a while and everything you shoot starts looking better, not just your spicy sopressata with Italian Fontina and pesto on country bread.

I never realized that such sport can cost a fortune as the items are not actually cheap. And since I am so fond of comparing store prices and online prices, I checked it on the internet. I need help in organizing my collection of photos. A parent of one of my son’s classmates requested for a copy of the pictures of the school activites. It wasn’t really hard but I had to check every folder that I have to make sure that I do not miss any. Should I start tagging my pictures? How do I begin? I have thousands of pictures in my EHD and just thinking about it makes me feel tired already.

What’s wrong with this picture? I am not good in Photoshop so I believe I do not have the right to judge this picture. However, the mistake is so obvious, isn’t it. Off To Disney.
I really hope we can bring DS to Disney. I am sure he will have a blast seeing his favorite characters face to face. Of course, the rides will be a big hit, too as he is one adventurous kid. He enjoys such rides and has even tried the roller coaster once with his dad. And I have to say that I didn’t know about that. Had I known, it would never have happened. It was just the small roller coaster inside a mall so it wasn’t that scary though. Anyway, I came across discounted Disney Tickets over at OrlandoFunTickets.com. I checked other online stores and surely they have the best deals on Disney World Tickets, as well as SeaWorld Tickets, Universal Studios Tickets and a lot more. I hope DH will agree for a vacation once he sees this great bargain.

Smashing Magazine has got several desktop wallpaper calendars for September. These are free to download. I have been wanting to change my wallpaper for the longest time. Mine is still the free wallpaper that comes with laptop. I haven’t even changed it to a photo. That explains how lazy I am. Good thing I was able to organize and clean up my working directory. I am so fond of making to-do lists, but I tend to not review the list to check what’s pending. Even the more important items like looking for reliable home alarm systems for the house has been pending for so long.
