Toys.

I have been planning to get a new cellphone. It has been weeks already since we decided on this one but up to now I haven’t made up my mind yet what phone to get. I would never spend a lot on a phone so I am eyeing the cheapest from our choices. Good thing I came across some really nice sale items at Buy.com. And the good news is they have my phone of choice on sale, as well. And while at it, I am also browsing their cameras and I’m so happy that their cameras are on sale, too. It’s going to be a long but fun night of window shopping again.

Random.

I wish I have new photos to share. I do have some actually but I haven’t downloaded them yet. Mostly photos from our frequent eating out. I am not so active online, but I do get online once in a while. Mostly to go over (and over again) my wish list. I am also helping a friend search for rv parks for their trip. Anyway I might shop a little so I am really trying to decide which items are worth buying and which aren’t. If only my budget is huge, I’ll get all the items on my wish list. But of course, that’s not the case, hence I need to prioritize. Plus, ever since I started minimizing my things and decluttering (it’s still on-going), I find that I rarely buy on impulse. It is not easy getting rid of things, plus I got to realize how much money I wasted buying things I didn’t really use.

Doing A Little Shopping.

I think I will be doing a little shopping. My SIL will be coming home in a couple of months and we asked her if she could spare some space for us in her luggage. I will be buying a few things for the family, most especially for DS. I have been window shopping lately for myself though I haven’t decided yet what to get. Maybe a bag and a pair of comfortable shoes and some other knick-knacks. But I wouldn’t be shopping a lot. We are just asking a favor from SIL, so I wouldn’t want to make her carry a lot of stuff. And of course, I do not have a lot of budget.

Anyway, a friend who loves shopping introduced me to Jildor and I have been browsing their site for hours now. I am not a shoe person so I am looking for some sandals and flip-flops. I am loving their ugg sandals and they are on sale right now. I love their summer shoes, too. I think I’m going to get myself a pair or two.

Am I?

Your Address Says You’re Friendly

Right now, you are enjoying your life as it is. You wouldn’t change a thing.
You feel happy for what you have. There’s a lot to be thankful for.

At your best, you are welcoming and outgoing. You have a lot to give.
At your worst, you are a bit too giving toward other people. You need to think of yourself first sometimes.

Fonts Galore.

I have been downloading fonts once again. I still haven’t organized my collection and here I am again hoarding. They are free so I am taking advantage. I still have some time to spare so might as well do something I enjoy. I know I should be looking for cheap insurance as it is the middle of the year already. But I guess I might just ask DH to check out 2insure4less.com as I am busy downloading.

About Books.

I love buying books for my son. My trip to the mall will not be complete without visiting the bookstore. I especially love going to the discount bookstore. I only buy him regular-priced books on special occasions, like Christmas, on his birthday, etc. Otherwise, I prefer to get him the discounted or cheaper ones. He is not yet that careful when handling his books so getting him the pricey ones isn’t a wise choice.

I have also been browsing online stores to find good deals on books. And school has already started so I am likewise helping my niece and nephews shop for their school textbooks. Imagine my excitement when I came across Valorebooks.com. They sell textbooks at really affordable prices. I can search for cheap textbooks by subject which is really a timesaver. It’s a good thing that we have never gone to the bookstore as these books are really cheap, they are 90% off the list price. Nobody can’t beat that.

How To Become A Confident Photographer.

1. Keep a Notebook . . . or don’t

2. Shoot Frequently

3. Shoot in Different Conditions

4. Set Goals

5. Read

6. Ask Questions

7. Change Your Perspective
*Simply remember that no matter who you are or how celebrated you become, there will always be a zillion photographers better than you AND always a zillion worse. And guess what? It doesn’t matter a bit! Comparison is all about perspective, and that’s something you have complete and total control over. Rather than viewing another photographer’s work and feeling down because you feel incapable of taking shots like that, think “Wow! That’s a great shot! I’m so glad I now I know that shots like that are possible and I can start practicing and trying to figure out how!” How’s that for empowerment! Word.to.your.mother! Instead of secretly begrudging the attention another photographer is receiving for their work, just think, “Wow, if I work really hard, I could get that kind of attention to MY art!”
